Our story
Why we started Imagination Toys
As parents, we saw the magic first-hand: the way children blossom when they swap screens for traditional wooden toys. Today we're a small, friendly, family-run business in the North West, and we choose every toy for its quality, safety and play value.

Why wooden toys?
Traditional wooden toys for imaginative, screen-free play
There's something special about a wooden toy in a child's hands: the weight, the warmth, the way it invites them to make up their own game. At Imagination Toys, we're a small, family-run team in the North West, hand-picking traditional wooden toys that spark imagination and keep little ones playing, not scrolling.
-

No buttons, no batteries, no script. Children decide what happens next, whether that's building, stacking, cooking or storytelling.
-
Screen-free fun

Classic toys that families have loved for generations, from play kitchens and dolls houses to trains, garages and animal sets.

Why choose traditional wooden toys?
Flashing lights and loud sound effects grab attention for a moment, but they often do the playing for the child. Traditional wooden toys work the other way round. A wooden kitchen becomes a café, a castle or a bakery depending on the day, and a set of blocks becomes whatever your child imagines. That's the kind of play that builds concentration, problem-solving and creativity.
Toys chosen by parents, for parents
We started Imagination Toys because we saw how our own children blossomed with simple, imaginative toys. Every toy in our shop is hand-picked by our family, so you can browse knowing someone has already thought about how it'll be played with.
Gifts for every age and budget
From stocking fillers under £20 to heirloom-style play kitchens and dolls houses, our traditional wooden toys make thoughtful gifts for birthdays, Christmas and christenings. Browse by budget or by type of play to find the right one.
